A thunder cloud cracks with lightning in a green sky. This rare phenomenon of a green sky can occur during severe and tropical storms in the right circumstances: in the late afternoon when the sun is low, the clouds are very dense and the water droplets very large. In these conditions, the red of the setting sun is absorbed through the water droplets suspended in the storm, which radiate green frequencies. It indicates a very real threat of a forming deadly storm to sublime effect.
