Overview
Festival of Print by East London Printmakers, The Art Pavilion, Mile End Park

Hannah Luxton is exhibiting four new etchings in the years Festival of Print by East London Printmakers, at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park. These works are just some of the results of her current Arts Council funded project to develop her drawing practice that informs her paintings into the medium of print.

East London Printmakers is a not-for-profit, artist run studio providing professional and affordable printmaking facilities for artists and designers. Work by more than 100 printmakers including open access-users, keyholders and bursary-holders will be on show, along with the Box Set 2024 of 30 x 30cm prints, kindly sponsored by John Purcell Paper. The exhibition showcases a wide range of printmaking techniques including woodblock, screen print, etching and relief, some are presented as monoprint and others as limited editions.

East London Printmakers is grateful to its sponsors who not only make the Festival of Print possible but also generously contribute a set of special awards at each year’s Festival which are chosen on the opening night and will be announced by our guest speaker, printmaker and illustrator Paul Catherall.
